Just realized I left the half cup of cream out of the pumpkin cheesecake that's in the oven with about 40 mins into the 90 min bake... well chit. Hope it tastes ok. Also used liquid sweetener this time and not near as much as last time. I tasted the batter and it was pretty good. Hope it's not flat without the cream. Cream really makes flavors pop... crossing fingers...

And the cauliflower is ready to go to the steamer tomorrow for fauxtatoes. And I'm going to make green beans amandine instead of green bean casserole. MIL is roasting the bird without stuffing (yay!) and very simple which suits me just fine. Pretty sure my SIL will do the side dishes they like. Won't go away hungry. I got dibs on the turkey skin. LOL

So far the holiday is shaping up nicely, and I'm so blessed to have all this family around. The house is warm tonight and cozy with cooking smells and candles and family lounging about. They're watching a movie in the living room while I finish this cheesecake. Can't think of the last time I felt so relaxed. Even the dogs are stretched out all over the house.

Only one stressed is my diva kitty who's just really pissed off about my son's dog being here. LOL
