Met with my new primary care Dr this morning and I have to say that I love this man...don't tell my fiance!

Dr. Perez not only saw me as a person and not a fat person but he seemed to have amazing experience in areas that are affecting my life that I never imagined possible!

Not only does he have many patients with cancer but has worked with many oncologists and is going to talk to them about my situation and about whether or not I should continue getting CT/PET scans each year as EVERY other specialist has insisted or if every few years is fine.

In addition to this, which would have been enough in my books, he is the director of a local addiction clinic and rehab center so we spoke at length about my family's predicament and I got a lot of good insight and advice and encouragement that I am dealing with it very well.

Wow. Enough said. Wow. I wish you all could find doctors like this. I can't wait to lose more and go in and say "See? Told you I was working hard! You believed me but now look at me, see the proof! Even BETTER than before!"


Oh, and we have WATER!!!!! Its back on, thank goodness!!!
