Well, I have been adding a bit more veggies for the last 2 weeks. Last week I lost four pounds. This week, nothing. Wondering what happened. I did add nuts just this week abut only two times and they were carefully measured. I think I will continue on this course with the veggies and nuts for another week and see if my body springs back into weightloss next week, maybe it just needs a little time to get used to the change. I am gonna watch a bit more carefully this week what I eat to make sure I don't go overboard with anything.
I have kept my exercises up. In the last two weeks a I have changed one thing. I have stopped walking 4 miles on Wed. I have added yoga for that day because I felt I needed a change and a break from all the miles. I do however still work on my abs and squats challenges on that day.
I'm almost regreting moving on to Owl but I will stick with it a bit longer. I really want to be able to eat a better variety of foods and be able to continue to lose (more slowly, of course) and later maintain my weightloss.
I am also gonna start adding a low carb yogurt into my diet. I want to watch it carefully so as not to stall completely or bring up any sweet cravings. The yogurt I have found has 3 net carbs and it does contain natural sugars from the milk and such so I will have to take it slow.
Anyway, that's me for now. Struggling again. I guess til I'm an ole pro at this I will continue to stumble and struggle to get through the stages like I should.
It's a good darn thing I signed up for the read the book challenge. That way I will be sure to catch anything I missed the first time reading the book.

#2DLS commentedOctober 12, 2008, 04:29 PMEditing a commentI think I have really screwed up today and yesterday to be honest. I was so excited to be adding more veggies to my diet that I also allowed myself to add more snacks. I measure carefully and they are all low carb but they add up so much faster than veggies! Because of course they don't have fiber. Like cream cheese cloud, crustless keylime pie, and such. I have also added nuts but only twice so far. I have tried them in the flax muffin recipe so there is a small amount in there but they were accounted for when I did all my measuring and adding so I could enter them in Fitday. I really need to scale back this week BIG TIME! One of my problems is that I am in that pre menstrual week. I hate this week! It is my hardest time for cravings. I have got to get back to basics and possibly back to induction for the week and then back into owl. I can see how this can truly get away from you!
