First things, first. Still well into ketosis, fasting blood glucose was 220. Ist insuline shot down to 4 units. Forgot to take evening pills and rushed out of the house this morning without taking them either. We will see how the glucose numbers look tonight.
I have officially been in ketosis since Tuesday. Tuesday morning I weighed 289. Last night I weighed 297 and this morning I weighed 292. Is it possible that being deeply into ketosis, while still working on getting residual sugars out of my system could cause the weight to go up before it goes down.
Either way, I feel more awake than I have in a long time. I hit the last hole in my belt this morning and my face, wrists and lower legs appear thinner. Who knows. I have to continue controlling the carbs. If I don't, the alternative doesn't look promising.
While I am really only interested in comparing my weight based on weigh-ins on Tuesday mornings and fasting, I am still curious as to how the weight will fluctuate at night and in between Tuesdays.
