  • BjornFeuer's "Devil's Eggs"

I'm still new to the forum, but I was really excited to see a recipe section. I love to cook!! That's what got me in this weight problem in the first place.

I love spicy food and like to make hot and painful alternatives to 'normal' food. I came up with this recipe awhile back for Devil's Eggs... the hot alternative to Deviled Eggs.

    Ingredients:
    6 eggs
    1/2 teaspoon of cayenne
    3 tablespoons mayonnaise
    1/2 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
1/2 tablespoon of horseradish or wasabi paste
1 teaspoon of your favorite hot sauce
1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper
Salt and Pepper to your taste.

Put the eggs in cold water and heat the water until it boils for about a minute and then let them sit for about 15. Peel the eggs and cut them in half. Set the yolks aside in a bowl. Combine all the ingredients and mash it all together and spoon them into the egg whites.

I like to sprinkle a little bit of cayenne on top for looks.

These are really great and will give a heat in your mouth and a tingle in your nose!

this sounds wonderful...and VERY hot!!! I love horseradish in anything but have never put it in my deviled eggs. Can't wait to see more of your ideas!

Sounds great. Never would of thought of adding the wasabi paste or horseradish. Think I will try these tomorrow

        Mmmm, those sound good.
I like putting a little colemans mustard in my deviled eggs. Gives it that extra bite (devilish) to them.
        Thanks for sharing the recipe.
