  • Frosty Creamy Cinnamon Buttons

    (cross-posted from Snacks)

These are great for those upcoming HOT summer months or anytime you're craving ice cream. Induction friendly!

    1.5 oz cream cheese
    pinch of cinnamon
    2 packets Splenda
    1 sheet parchment paper

Put cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds or so until totally soft and hot. Add cinnamon and Splenda, mix well. Put parchment paper on a plate and use a spoon to drop small bits of the mixture on the parchment, pressing down with the back of the spoon to make little "buttons". Put plate in freezer for about 15 minutes until hardened.

Peel off the buttons and enjoy!

If you're in OWL you can take strawberry slices or nuts and dip them in this mixture before freezing, kind of like yogurt-covered snacks.

I just tried these tonight and they are DELICIOUS!!! Thanks for the recipe! I accidently put way more than a pinch of cinnamon in and they still taste good.

you can make choclate ones by mixing in some unsweetened cocoa powder and leave out the cinnamon.

I made these last night and they were so good!!! I needed something a little sweet I think this is the recipe I have been looking for for about a year....I used to make cream cheese drops when I was Atkins years ago but couldn't find the recipe or even remember what else was in it, so thank you!

This sounds great, does anyone know how to melt the creamcheese without a microwave???

Also, wonder if you can keep them in a container in the freezer and just eat them from time to time?
