Ok, I made this tonight and it was really good, but I like this sort of thing anyway.
2 egg whites beaten medium (between soft and stiff)
after the whites start to get frothy add 1/4 c splenda
once the whites are forming soft peaks, at the end add
2 t almond extract
1/2 t cardamom
spread in a 10 in circle on parchment, raised on sides and well in center, and bake at 250 for 30 minutes, or until dry and crusty. Let cool, place on cake plate and fill with:
Mix 12 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 cup raspberry daVinci
1 T lime juice
2 t raspberry flavoring
Pour into center well. Melt 1 square of unsweetened bakers chocolate with 1/4 cup splenda and drizzle over the top. Chill and cut into wedges.
You might want to be careful of the amount of splenda you have had for the day, though.
I think I will try this with other flavors...like banana if there is one, or banana flavor and daVinci caramel, with nutmeg in the torte/egg white ooooooo yeahhhhh
