I haven't tried this, the comments are made by the author of the recipe, and I received it through the www.3fatchicks.com recipe mailing list.
I think that with a little experimenting of your own, you might be able to reduce the carb count, or find a heavy cream that had fewer carbs than one used by the author of this recipe!
1 package Jello SF instant chocolate pudding
mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
Was craving pudding or anything chocolate so here's what I did.....
I used Sugar free chocolate pudding and mixed it (1.4 oz size pkg)
with 1
1/2 cups water and 1/2 cup heavy cream. I then mixed in 2 TBSP
whipped
cream cheese......yum....tasted just like pudding, with much lower
carbs....made 4, 1/2 cup servings. I could have not put in the heavy
cream
to save on carbs, but the taste was better and I was experimenting.
Definately needed something other than water!
Per serving: 155 Calories (kcal); 13g Total Fat; (72% calories from
fat);
2g Protein; 9g Carbohydrate; 47mg Cholesterol; 355mg Sodium Food
