  • Easy as pie no bake Cheesecake

Hi everyone.I just came here to pass on this recipie that i just made.I was craving cheesecake bad so i used all my"legal ingredients"and went to work This recipie is really easy taste oh so great. If you make this please come back and tell me how it tasted

    1 pkg softened cream cheese
    1 pint heavy cream
    1/2 cup splenda
1 teaspoons Pure lemon extract(tones down the splenda taste)
    2 Teaspoons pure vanilla

Dump everything into a bowl.Whisk it all together with a large wire whisk for about 10 minutes.(set the mixture aside)

    make your crust(optional)
    One cup of crushed pecans
    one tablespoon of butter
    2 teaspoons splenda
    dump in a bowl
    microwave for about 50 seconds.

    set up of cake

Use a medium sized square bowl
or whatever bowl you have just make sure its not a huge bowl because
its not really a whole lot of mixture or crust.

press the pecan mixture in the bottom of the bowl
dump the cheescake mixture on top of the crust
cover with foil or plastic wrap

    refrigerate overnight

You can top this with strawberries or a dash of cinnamon YUM!

Try reducing the granular Splenda to 1/4 to 1/2 cup.

My cheesecake uses 1/2 cup Splenda to 2 pounds cream cheese, so 1 cup to 1 brick of cream cheese is WAAAAAAAY too much Splenda.

I think you maybe right but remember there is 1 whole pint of heavy cream in this recipie.and that needs to be sweetened too i tasted the batter as i went and it seemed the whole cup of splenda was needed to make it taste "normal"lol

so i guess its all about personal preference.

I LOVE the idea of using a nut for a cheesecake crust. When I am on that rung, I am SO doing that!

I made a variation of this today, which was wonderful

        Coffee cheesecake:
        1 package softened cream cheese
        1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
        2 packets Truvia
        1 tsp vanilla
        a sprinkle of cinnamon
and 2 tablespoons of coffee (made)

It is magic! It tastes just like the kind I used to get at Cheesecakes Unlimited! =)

          >>there is 1 whole pint of heavy cream in this recipie.and that needs to be sweetened>>

Heavy cream doesn't need to be "sweetened".

          >>t seemed the whole cup of splenda was needed to make it taste "normal">>

Depends on how you define "normal" I guess.

I expect some would "spit it out" as too sweet.

Have you figured out the net carbs in all this?

You might try using 1/4 cup of Splenda.

You might try using lemon zest.

And you should count up the carbs in this!
