LOL, usually I just wanted to throw up! But then, the stuff I consumed hadn't been "desalted" like that water is.

I've been drinking it all morning. It's great! I have a glass pitcher that leave on the counter all day (I know, sounds gross, but I like it room temp) - looks like the Kool-aid pitcher. It's all filled up with cucumbers and lemons. I have to say, it's as pretty as it is good.

Nor was it clean, and unexposed to sulight for 2000 years, from the deep like Kona Nigari water - you probably were drinking plankton and Exxon Valdese oil slick.

Cool! Never really thought about making my own! Now I have to get a pitcher to keep on my desk! I don't mind room temp water at all. I drink it that way most of the day -- I keep 3 liters on my desk and a liter by my bedside.

Boonie, that's making me gag just thinking about it! Eww, and all the people on vacation peeing in the ocean! Barf!

Re: The best water I've ever had

I'm an Evian girl but I have the habbit of changing .. like sometimes I'd drink "cool blue"

This is what I have about the water

                  "
Country of Origin : New Zealand
                  Place Name: Putaruru

The water source is a huge spring, known as the "Blue Spring". The spring flows naturally all year round at a rate of 730 Liters per second and is well known for its purity and crystal blue appearance.

The water is totally protected while it is pumped from deep within the spring through food grade pumps and piped to the factory.
                  "

and when I get bored with those, I drink specific brands (types?) of water.. but I'd NEVER ever drink tap water unless I'm sure its filtered.. I find it very unhealthy... and I totaly hate Aquafina, it has the weirdest taste :S

The best water I have ever had was VOSS water, which is from Norway. However, I only found that in Chicago. In my daily like, I drink Figi water. I am a water snob because it is the ONLY beverage I drink, ever.

I love Dejá Blue water, it has a clean taste. The tap water in my area is not the freshest anymore. We used to have our tap come directly from wells in my area but not anymore. The well water was excellent by the way!

Re: The best water I've ever had

I used to love tap water, until we got a home water cooler and started getting it delivered by the 5 gallons. The culligan water tastes so sweet and smooth conpared to our tap that now I cant drink the tap, Im so spoiled!!!! I also like figi water but not sure if its because of the taste or the pretty bottles, hahaha!

Since I dont drink tap i do a flouride treatment on my teeth every once in a while as recommended by my dentist, just the liquid stuff from the store.

I am also a water snob, I dont ever drink anything else, though I may try some cocoa this winter (made with cream and sugar substitute of course)

Oh and whats the deal with cucumbers in the water? What is that supposed to do? Is it just for taste?

I've been faithfully adding cucumber slices to my pitchers of water and I LOVE it! I think a combo is in order now. I'm going to try the lemon/cucumber and see how that is. Thanks for the idea.
NO, thank YOU for the good idea Jerzaka...I haven't ever heard of adding cukes to water, but I imagine it would be good. I love cucumbers, So I'm going to try it.

I always put lemon slices in my water bottle, then freeze it overnight. I love water to be extremely cold, and with huge chunks of ice in it. I will have to try the cucumbers...do you have to drink it room temp, or can you just prepare it that way an chill it for drinking--does the temperature affect the taste?

The best water I've ever had...either water from artesian wells in the UP (Upper Peninsula for you non-Michiganders) or from the spring behind my family's cabin.

I still stick to purified water with flouride, though. I keep buying infant water...people must think I'm pregnant instead of fat.

I buy bottled water and refill it with tap cause it's just easier to measure that way. I forgot about the cucumber idea cause I am just not a fan of water in any form
