Hello, everyone! I started drinking decaf coffee and tea (I like the flavor, never really got much of an 'effect' from caffeine anyway, lol!) and All the creamers I found have 'Corn Syrup Solids' listed at the top of the list.. I really don't like drinking apartame, so I avoid the 'sugar free' versions as well. I thought I'd get a box of dry milk and make up some of my own with Splenda.. Well, that theory was smashed when I saw the carb content in dry milk.. 13 g was the lowest I found.. I've been contemplating this 'recipe' for two weeks now and I can't seem to think of anything I could sub to create something low carb.. I could use just cream, but I only drink coffee/tea at work and I have to stay at my desk all day, so I'd like something non perishable.. Can anyone help me think of something I could use? I don't really need it for my tea, but the coffee definately needs cream.. Thank for all your input!!

Re: Creamer for tea/coffee..
Do you have a fridge at work? You could keep a small carton of cream in there. Presumably you can leave your desk to go to the ladies room or to make your tea/coffee so you could get it from the fridge at that time. Otherwise, can you bring a small cooler/lunch bag to work with an ice pack in it? You can bring your daily allowance of cream in a jar, along with cheese or eggs or whatever other Atkins-friendly food you might want to keep cool.Female, 46yrs, 5'3"
