I must confess that i have really missed my mochas, but i was experimenting this morning and made a pretty good substitute. Here is the recipe if you want to try it:
1/2 to 1 TBS of baking cocoa powder (i used 1/2)
2 TBS heavy cream
1-2 packets splenda (i used 1)
enough coffee to fill your cup
I took the cocoa, splenda, and cream and mixed it into a paste. then i added the hot coffee and mixed well.
it was really pretty good! the carb count is 4-5 depending on how many of the ingredients you use. much better than the coffee house count!
and everything in it is atkins freindly (just be sure to use decaf if you have a problem with caffeine)
