  • Coffee vs. Caffeinated Soda

I've been doing some reading recently since I'm in induction, again. I don't really drink caffeinated soda's at all but I do drink some coffee in the mornings every day. I was worried about the affect that coffee might have on my induction or life in general.

Personally, coffee hasn't seemed to affect my weight loss at all. I'm still loosing and it doesn't affect my weight loss on any other diet I've done. I don't know about soda's with caffeine but seems that caffeine in a soda and the caffeine in coffee are processed differently because of the components that make up coffee. (I can present some links to sites dealing with coffee if you want) or do a search for Coffee and insulin or similar.

I'm curious what other people have experienced and found in research. It does appear that doses of caffeine seem to affect blood sugar. Though I would be really interested to see the immediately stopping coffee or even caffeine intake for people in induction. I was wondering if the long term users of caffeine products who stop consuming and go on a low-carb diet can actually experience more significant initial weightlosss? I was also curious how that affects the process of entering ketosis, etc. I didn't find any significant scientific research on this. Though several studies in ketogenic diets might give better information. I'm still searching but open to anyone's experiences or research.
