    If you're buying Russell Stover's low-carb chocolates...

You might like to know that their older line of sugar-free chocolates (found in the candy area at Walmart) are apparently EXACTLY THE SAME but cost quite a bit less! As far as I can tell, the ingredients and the carb count are identical, though on the packaging of the sugarless ones they don't specify "net carbs", but it's easy to do the math. Read the labels, cause I haven't seen all the types. Love those mint patties! :laughing

The toffee squares are out of this world.
          Talon

I used to live to eat. I still enjoy eating, but it's no longer a hobby.

Lost 31 on ADA diet and had eternal stall. Started Atkins and dropped 10.5 on induction. Loving OWL

I tried their mint patties and loved them. A few days later I tried their pecan clusters and they went right through me. My stomach was churning and my bowels were flexing. Ahh, the sweetest most delicious laxative I've ever tasted.

Pecan Delights and the chocolate are like Andes Mints. The best thing about these is that knowing what malitol can do, I am not tempted to overindulge!lol. I will have to check out the "cheaper" boxes. I had no idea!! Thanks

There's two dangers if you can't getenough of those things LOL.
The first, seriously, is that you can overeat low carb and end up eating high carb without realizing it. There are so manylow carb products now that it would be easy to overdue and a ton of feathrs still weighs a ton.

The other problem is that if you can't get enough of them, you suddenly will... Malitol

thank you for posting this post. I used to buy RussellStover's at Walgreen's and it was $2.99

and then I went to Walmart (candy section) and the very same package (just different color packaging) is half price at $1.50.

Man, they double their pricing just because the other package says "Low-Carb". Well, I treat myself to 2 pieces every day and am still losing weight. 1. peppermint patty and 1. tofee square.
