  • Pre-Made Atkins Bread

Does such a product exist? I heard that Atkins-Approved bread is available in stores. I remember hearing that it was made by Arnold Bread or Branola. Does anyone know of a commercially available bread that is approved by Atkins?

    Thanks

There is a nutritional store by my house that sells Atkins bread frozen. I use to make my own, but I like the frozen one better. I keep it frozen and defrost only what I need at the time.

The only place I can find the Atkins pre-made bread here is at the local health food store in the frozen food section.

Other than that, I have yet to find another commercially made bread that is Atkins approved.

low carb bread and other products

you can always order your bread from atkins.com under the shopping tab. you can order all kinds of products from there AND find a store near you that sells Atkins approved groceries. just remember that with any label, "low-carb" is not what you should go by, but instead read the nutrition facts and make sure you're reading the amount of carbs, subtracting any fiber and adding that to your total for the day. also dont forget to read the ingredient list, because you dont want to eat ANYTHING with enriched flour and sugar (among other things). just because the bread says 6 carbs per slice, it does you NO good if all the carbs come from sugar, honey, corn syrup, dextrose, flour, etc... so be careful and good luck!

Brownberry has some bread for 3 bucks and then there is the actual Atkins bread for 5 bucks. A girl I work with tried the higher one and said it was gross, I use the Brownberry because it's cheaper and tastes good, I have been telling everyone to give it a try first, so far they love it.

I found that Atkins bread and bagels at my local Wal-Mart Supercenter. I haven't tried any yet though.

i live in NY and they have atkins bread in Stop n Shop, and i believe i've also seen it at other grocery stores. I think it had 6 grams of carbs per slice. it looked really soft and yummy, but im on induction and didnt buy it... i did buy 2 carb cookies though... and they were amazing. they were in one of those cookie tubs and looked like theyd been made recently. tasted almost just like a cookie, but i dont think theyre ok for induction. but 2 carbs..... i just couldnt help it!!!
