Low Carb French Fries

Back in August 2003, Randy Blaun was on Good Morning America tooting her low carb fries and it was reported in the news all over the place. Are they still pending with the FDA? Does anyone know when those are supposed to come into the stores? Wouldn't those taste great with some of that low carb ketchup?

Boy I would LOVE for these fries to come back! I love fries and hate that we can't have them on this diet!

Laurie, the Jicama ones are supposedly very good if you can find Jicama. I made some with turnips the other day and they were OK. but not particularly french-fry like. I plan on trying with Daikon and Kohlrabi as well.
