  • O'so Lo breads

The other day I picked up a 4 pack box of the banana walnut O'so Lo buns. Toasted one with butter. Delicious! It was like bread, but also tasted like banana bread.

Expensive, but worth the treat! $4.99/4 buns CAN$. 3.3 net carbs per bun. No sugar.

Totally recommend them for an alternative.

Also, they have other brands....regular deli buns, cinnamon, pumpernickel. Haven't tried those yet!
My cats love me ever since I started Atkins!!

I like the occasional sourdough Osolo roll as a hamburger bun or a dinner roll. I keep one handy when I go out to dinner with people who are having a pile of really delicious-smelling, hot, fresh dinner rolls so I can have my own dinner roll and not be tempted to take a bite of the regular kind.

Like all low carb "fake bread" products, they're not really meant for everyday use. They're more in the line of an extra treat now and then.

I recently had one of these osolo sandwich buns as a bun for my cheeseburger. Honestly, I did not like it so much that I completely skipped the meal after a couple of bites. My husband however, was able to finish and he didn't seem to mind the soy taste and the different texture.
