Having tried other low-carb pastas before, and being less than impressed, I was really interested in trying the new Mueller's products that hit the shelves last week. According to Time, they were supposed to taste more like real pasta.
And they do, at least the spaghetti does. The noodles are somewhat more delicate than either regular pastas, or other low-carb pastas I've tried, but their mouthfeel is very similar to the real thing.
I've found other products to be more "toothsome" and texturally a little rougher than regular pasts. Not so with the Muellers.
I can't wait to try the egg noodles and the ziti.
Oh, and they are 19 net-carbs per serving.
