  • O,solo Rolls.

I have been eating them for a short time now and like them alot!

I buy the cin/ raisin, slice in half, dredg in egg and fry with butter on both sides for french toast... mmmm its so good.

I also eat the Original O'solo roll with a hamburger.

They are worth it, and are very inexpensive.

      Yes, they're good.

Finding the o'solo rolls has been a great boon to me, since I can toss one of them into the lunch kit with some sliced turkey or ham and a slice of provolone and make a sammich for lunch....

They're a low carb bread of sorts. I've seen the "rolls" (look like hamburger buns in size and shape) in both sourdough and pumpernickel. They have longer ones "long deli rollz" that look like hot dog buns in Italian, pumpernicke land one more that escapes me at the moment.

They taste a lot like 'regular' bread. I've used the longer ones to make a "hoagie". The carb counts vary, but they're in the 3-6 carbs per roll range.

They also have "sweet rolls" which look like hamburger buns again, but are.... you guessed it... SWEET. In those I've only tried the cinnamon-raisin. Not bad with a blob of cream cheese on it for breakfast, if you prefer that sort of thing.

They also have muffins. I tried the blueberry ones and to be honest, I thought they were fairly icky. Way too sweet, very small for the carbs and didn't taste like much. Kinda mushy, too.

I buy mine at Worldgate Nutrition in Herndon, VA.

I just purchased some of these last night, and I have to say they are great.

I am probably the biggest low-carb products skeptic on these boards, but even I did not see anything out of place in the ingredients list of these rolls. While I would not use them on induction, there don't seem to be any grains in them either, just flax seed, proteins, and other OWL legal items. I will have to check my weight this weekend to see if they had an effect or not, but if the carb count is true, these truly are a boon.

I looked at the ingredient list on the cinn/raisan ones & no raisens are listed :confused whoevers tried them, are there any in there?

I just bought the original rollz & the blueberry muffins... rolls were 'ok' kinda chewy & bleh, but I've had worse 'bread' since starting this lol. The muffins on the other-hand were horrid, mushy & too sweet with that fony aftertaste, and the carb count has me wondering too, they tote 2.6g on the box, but the nutritionals only acount for 1g of fiber out of 6g of Carb... <1g of sugar listed but no sugar alchohols to acount for the other 2.4g of carbs ensive

Hmmm, I haven't noticed any stalls, but I haven't tried the sweet varieties, just the sub style rolls and the hamburger style rolls.

So hard to find here. I guess I will have to order some online.

I also eat a couple of these a week. My favorite is the banana walnut fried in a pan till crispy, then I put some SF maple syrup on top.

                      Yummmmmy.

No stalls here yet, other than the week 3-week 5 that everyone seems to experience.
