  • soy flour?

i visited foodtv.com 'cause of the new show "low carb and lovin' it" (you guys might wanna check it out too, there's some yummy-looking recipes there) and i see that there's a lot of recipes that call for soy flour.

i wonder if anyone hast tried them yet, and if so how does it taste?

I had the low carb fried chicken last weekend and LOVED it! It was the best chicken I have had in a very long time. I used to love KFC (only ones in Ireland are in Dublin or Belfast). This chicken beats KFC hands down and the best part it is completely legal. You could take this to a pot luck and I doubt if anyone would know the difference.

Soy flour is popular for low carb products because it's cheap and easy to buy. It isn't popular because of it's taste. In some recipes it works, in many, it doesn't.

One of the interesting facets of soy flour is that it's been cooked prior to processing into flour, so the taste doesn't change in your baked goods. Taste the flour by itself. That's the flavor you are adding to your food.
