It tastes GREAT, but I can't find any information on the ingredients. Does anybody have in information?

I just emailed them and asked for ingredient and nutritional info. Not sure if I'll get it, but if I do, I'll share!

Amazing - I got a quick response AND the info from TCBY headquarters! Imagine that!

Here's the ingredients for the Vanilla Low Carb Lover’s Frozen Yogurt. Other flavors are similar but with a flavoring added...ie, Amaretto flavoring, hazelnut flavoring, etc.

Ingredients: Nonfat milk, cream, nonfat yogurt with live active cultures, polydextrose, lactitol, sorbitol, whey protein concentrate, stabilizers (cellulose gel, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum, sodium phosphate, carrgeenan), natural and artificial flavors, calcium carbonate, surcralose, acesulfame, potassium.

The nutritional info on all flavors is:
      Serving Size: 4 oz
      Calories: 110
      Fat: 7
      Total Carbs: 17
      Fiber: 7
      Sugar: 3
      Sugar Alcohol: 6
      Protein: 3-4 depending on flavor

I know there's a big yogurt controversy in the Atkins realm, so I'm not voicing an opinion on this one.

But three cheers to TCBY for providing the info!!

        Hmmmm... lactitol.

Lactitol, from what I've read, is the worst sugar alcohol from a laxation perspective. Be careful with that stuff.

Also, there's a typo at the end: "acesulfame, potassium" is one word.

Yoghurt isn't really a controversey, just not allowed until that dairy rung . Ditto on the nonfat milk.

Polydextrose is apparently a polymer derived from dexstrose with a low-calorie/gram ratio, and was designed as a bulking agenst for low-fat/low-cal foods. While supposedly it has less glycemic impact than regular dexstrose, it still does have some. It is also listed as potentially having a laxatixe effect.

With four out of the five main ingredients having known caveats, this looks like something to steer clear of until deep into OWL or maintenance.
