I am going to eliminate Cheeters crackers out of my diet (I have been stalled since May23)
This is pretty much the only "frankenfood" I indulge in, and after reading an article about glutens (this has soy almond and hazelnut gluten in it)
I thought it might be a good idea to get rid of it and see if it helps or not.
    :anger
It is s great question though, maybe this should be on the main board, I don't know how much attention it will get here!

I find that i stall with sugar alcohols and aspertame. Now that i cut out Atkins bars and aspertame sweetened diet sodas, i've gotten back on track.

Just cruising through here for the first time... I do seem to be addicted to those candy bars. Nothing seems to happen anymore either. I could stand to lose another 10 lbs. Interesting what I just read above. I always even used regular diet coke and diet sprite and at one point did lose about a lb a day. 212 down to 173. I hover around 178 now pretty much doing as I please with them candy bars. Still play sports but am 50.

            Good luck... Gary

The interesting thing is that different products will affect different people in different ways. Aspartame doesn't seem to do anything to some, while it completely stalls out otherd, ditto for sugar alcohols and the like. This is why it is vitally important to abstain from all of these products during your induction period, so that you know what you can accomplish doing the plan as written, and then try adding them in in a controlled way later into OWL, so you can find what works for you, and what doesn't.
