Shasta - A many 'Splenda' thing!
Shasta Beverages, a National Beverage company, is converting its multi-flavored line of diet soft drinks to SPLENDA(R) No Calorie Sweetener.
Shasta 8-oz cans in diet cola, ginger ale and lemon-lime flavors were the first to convert to SPLENDA in order to meet the stringent demands of the food service channel; these cans are already in distribution to hospitals, schools and other institutions. Since SPLENDA is made from sugar, it tastes like sugar and is widely preferred by health-conscious consumers.
Shasta's newest zero-calorie flavors, Diet French Vanilla Cola and Diet Chocolate, also enjoy the added taste provided by SPLENDA and the majority of all diet Shasta flavors will be using this sweetener very soon.
