Any reccomendations on a sugar free bacon? I want to use bacon in some recipes but all the ones I found have been cure either with sugar or dextrose. Can any one help me?

Always read the labels. Look for fresh bacon from the butcher, or boxed "end pieces" of the store brand. You can also do "canadian style" and simply fry ham, pork or fatback but again, read the labels.~Susan

There are a couple of supermarket brands that are 25% less sodium/sugar free.
Smithfield is one. I think Hormel might be the other. Hormel or Oscar Mayer.
I take sugar free bacon, arrange it in a single layer on a cookie sheet and then drizzle a few drops of log cabin sugar free syrup over it. That little bit of extra sweetness makes a world of difference.

if you got a kroger their no sugar bacon is sugar free also lower sodium too.by the book atkinseer
