  • Waist Watcher drinks

    Hi,

This isn't a recipe, but a type of soda I found at my local supermarket. It tastes AWESOME!!!! You can check if it's in your area on this website:

My parents LOVE their chocolate soda. It isn't available where I am though so I only get it when I go and visit!

      soda

I must agree! Waist Watchers is by far the best no carb, caffeine free soda available! The cola has that same burning sensation that you get when you drink coke. YUMMY!

Creamsicles - Using Waist Watchers Soda

Heard a great idea for a mixed drink that I will try at some point when I'm off INDUCTION.

I'm sure a lot of you have had an ice cream type of creamsicle.

How about a mixed drink Creamsicle:

          Waist Watcher's Orange soda
          Vanilla Vodka
          Ice

Add all into a blender and enjoy.

Bet it would taste great with the Black Cherry soda too...

OK, I'm droolling. I'm going in search of this stuff as soon as I'm off induction. I'm thinking a splash of heavy cream would be a good addition to it, too!

I know I"m a day late and a dollar short but... Waist watchers is only available in the NE U.S. I found a website that sells it! Here's a link! Good luck. This stuff is amazing. I started atkins a week ago and I have a WICKED sweet tooth. This soda has kept me on the straight and narrow! http://lowcarbdietchefs.safeshopper.com/11/139.htm?817

I have to completely agree with duckie on this one. I've got some waist watchers cream soda sittin in front of me right now. Last night I added a bit of cream to orange soda and threw a dollop of heavy cream on top. It was a great desert, like a creamsicle! Never been so happy to be from the NE... :joy

I was hooked on Waist Watchers chocolate soda for years. It really is great. I'm not sure why I switched back to Diet Coke eventually, but I did. Then when I started induction, I dropped the Coke and haven't had any diet soda since day one.

But what I do now have every now and then might be of interest to those of you who can't get Waist Watchers chocolate. For a taste very close to it, I use a bit of DaVinci sugar-free chocolate syrup to flavor a glass of seltzer (you could use club soda, but watch out for salt). My preference is for a very small amount of the syrup--sort of a chocolate-flavored seltzer rather than a full-tilt chocolate soda--but you can adjust the proportion to suit yourself. Other brands of syrup might be just as good, but all I can vouch for is the DaVinci.
