remember sugar free doesn't mean carb free after all honey and High fructose corn syrup are sugarfree
ask to see the ingredients list so you can decide if it could be part of your Atkins later when all the ingredients are legal in OWL.

Yeah, I hate the fact that my stores around me are dropping LC ice cream for Sugar Free or No Sugar Added Ice Creams. They still have LOADS of carbs in them.

Re: Baskin Robbins sugar free allowed?

Basking & Robbins sugar free cookies and cream has the following ingredients:

Ingredients: nonfat milk, no added sugar ice cream base (maltodexrin, sorbitol, maltitol, mono and diglycerides, guar gum, locust bean gum, sucralose), sugar free chocolate sandwich cookies (enriched wheat flour {niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid}, maltitol, vegetable shortening {partially hydrogenated soybean oil and/or cottonseed oil, citric acid}, isomalt, cocoa processed with alkali, maltitol syrup, salt, baking soda, chocolate liquor, non gmo soy lecithin, vanillin, sucralose), cream, cocoa powder, whey protein, vitamin a palmitate

          A 4 oz. scoop contains

          34 g carbs
          1 g fiber
          7 g sugars

They don't list the sugar alcohol carbs (for those that deduct them), but even if they did, the net carb would still be huge from the milk, maltodextrin and wheat flour.

Which is all pretty much moot due to the presence of partially hydrogenated oil, which is not allowed ever.
