carbwell oreos!!

I'm new here but I just tried CarbWell Oreos at Albertson's and they taste damn near the same as the regular ones!!!! 3 carbs each so I only had 1.

I tried an Oreo today and it is really good... almost exactly like the originals. I agree that these are not quite as sweet as the originals which makes them taste better to me. I never ate the middles of the originals becasue they are too sweet

I don't know how you can eat just one. Of course my problem has always been never stopping at one. For me, they would be the kiss of death. Good luck to you.

I tried these over the holidays in a quest to help me avoid real cookies! I thought they were very good, not too sweet and quite tempting -- I probably won't buy them again unless I am taking them somewhere, since I wanted to eat them all!

BTW -- I had them in Texas, and since everyone was having ice cream I got the local store brand low carb ice cream (HEB) thinking that it probably wouldn't be very good -- I was wrong! It was very good, and after you throw a couple of the LC Oreos crumbled into it, it was pretty durn good!

Not hard to see why my numbers are up instead of down!

BAD NEWS to all of us!!!!!!!!!!!! :sadblinky Nabisco (Kraft Foods) has discontinued Carbwell Oreos and Chips Ahoy as of March 1, 2005. If your store is out, they are done. We need to call them or go online to ask them to bring them back to us. Go to

that's prob not bad news for me, i'm a cookie monster. cookies and crackers were always the 2 things i couldn't reasonably control my intake of.

They are back... marketing to a new fad now... "Sugar Free Oreos". They still have 6 grams of net carbs for 2 cookies though. Haven't checked them out yet, but maybe I will eventually!
