Hey good to see you posting again.

it is about the same as brewing a cup of stong green tea or taking the green tea pills but in liquid form.
I got a real laugh out of the statement creatring a negative energy effect since they didn't say they added any sugar it should have 0 cals already so the slight metobloic ingrease from the thermogesic effect of the stuff need only increase our cmetabolism 1/2 a cal to be true.

Cant see what its sweetened with, 2big.

Caff is forbidden in the book but is found in some pills sold by Atkins Corps.

I drink Caff Free Cola, but of course the Spelda sweetened version is not available in Europe.

Green tea I have come to like - especially after I learned it should NOT be made with boiling water, but with water just off the boil, as for coffee.

The accumulated body of scientific research shows the ability of green tea’s
powerful antioxidant EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) to speed up metabolism and
increase energy use, especially when combined with caffeine,” said Nestlé researcher
          Dr. Hilary Green.
Using plant extracts to increase our metabolism? Cool! Hey, cocaine is a metabolism boosting plant extract... maybe they should make a soft drink with that!

          Wait... they already did.

They might as well sell it in a syringe.

I reject any comments that makes light of the use of proscribed susbstances.

Coca Cola is, of course, so named becuase the original receipe contained cocaine.

I think it was the extract of coca leaves, not cocaine per se.

I was using humour to prove my point, but my message was/is quite serious. Anyone that utilizes substances to boost their metabolism/lose weight is asking for trouble.

Just say no to drugs. (seriously!)

"Studies have shown that when EGCG and caffeine are present at the levels comparable to that in three cans of Enviga, healthy subjects in the lean to normal weight range can experience an average increase in calorie burning by 60 – 100 calories."

So . . . What about the unhealthy, overweight people?? Why didn't they do studies on them??

Seriously why does someone who is at normal weight (let alone LEAN) need to burn extra calories . . . especially if you had to buy 3 cans a day???

                    Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

You only burn about 20 calories per can. The get the benefits they are claiming you have to drink three cans per day.
