  • Glennys Soy Crisps

    Anybody had these chips?

    Question:
    Total Carbs: 9g
    Fiber: 1.5g
    Sugars: 1g
So what the heck are the 'unlisted' other 6.5g ?

    REF: www.glennys.com

Generally I'm looking for a crisp thin salty snack, like a potatoe chip to use in dips. I tried some rather thick low carb crackers, but they were not great.

I haven't had Glenny's, but I've tried a bag of the Skinny brand soy chips. They were weird, at first, but they grew on me. There are only 9g of net carbs for a 1oz. serving (the bag is 3 1/2oz.), and I found the serving size VERY generous. The chips are NOTHING like the Genisoy chips. They are extremely crunchy and all natural.

The only ingredients are: Soy flour*, tapioca starch, Loriva® sunflower oil (expeller pressed), sea salt.

I don't think they are induction legal, but I found that out AFTER I had already had them. For some reason, I thought that I saw soy flour as an acceptable thing during induction. Oh well. For those who *can* have them, I highly recommend them. They have some of the lowest carbs I've seen on any chips.
