I tried the Mini-Carb biscuit mix a month or so ago. Ohmygawd...it tasted like FEET. I thought I could goose it up with some garlic salt, more butter, some spices -- then it tasted like DIRT. I can't believe they actually sell this stuff. Obviously the "taste testing panel" went home sick in that company and forgot to tell the powers-that-be how awful it is. I have a box of bread machine mix in the cupboard by the same company -- I should throw it out but that box cost $5.00++!!! UGH!
I have found pretty much anything made with copious amounts of soy flour tastes like this.. :vomit

I find that the microwave flax bread or the LC tortillas are the only palatable breads. I use the microwave flax bread for PBJ (never used it on a sandwich) and the LC tortillas for everything else.
I have used CarbQuick for "cake/muffin" breads, and it is quite good -- good enough that I am laying off it for awhile because I like it too much!
I have also see some decent reviews of Atkins Revolution Rolls, found on the Atkins site, but I have never make those.277/180/160ish -- started 7/28/03 --F
