    Keto Products

This weekend I tried Ketos hot cereal in the blueberries & cream flavor. MAJOR YUCK. Also tried their version of cocoa krispies called cocoa krisp and it was a MAJOR YUM. Go figure.

The few keto products I have tried I have liked. The tortilla chips are pretty tasty. I used the Keto cookie(like biscotti) as the crust for cheesecake.

      Keto Blueberry Cheesecake Bars

On the overly sweet side, but not too bad -- especially if everyone else is eating pastry or cereal! I bought this to have on vacation, and it was fine for that kind of situation. Don't know if I would buy them again -- unless I am travelling and want to make sure I have something for a quick breakfast.

I have tried all the flavors of the KETO hot cereals, and the blueberry one is the only one I didn't like. It had a very strange taste. My favorite is the the banana nut, and my husband really like the apple cinnamon.

I have taken to making my own instant hot cereal, and posted the recipe on the "Other" recipe board. I hate to pat myself on the back, but it's way better than any commercially made brand that I've tried.

I like the banana nut hot cereal. The first few bites, you are disappointed it's not the Quaker Instant Oatmeal you know and love. But after you get that through your head, you realise it's not too bad!

It has so much protein, it keeps me full for a long time.

I tried the Keto hot cocoa. I love it! It has 2g net effective carbs per serving.

A big thumbs down on the tortilla chips - look like corn, taste like soy husks, with a dry, chalky texture in the mouth. Not even plentiful melted cheese could help them.

                  Keto NachoTortilla Chips

I have found one way where the Keto Nacho Tortilla Chips are quite yummy in a Taco Salad...

I make "chili' (ground beef w/ a lot of hot sauce and some salsa)
Put it over a bed of lettuce, some cheese, sour cream, onions...(add your fav taco salad toppings here) and crumble the chips on top- Yum! The times when I am out of the chips and I make my salad it is just not the same.

Keto Ketchup is GREAT!!! I have some on my omlette in the morning, at 1 carb per tbsp, it is worth it. It is a bit procey, but I measure out the tbsp, so I get over 20 servings per bottle.

Keto chocolate fudge shake - much tastier than the atkins shakes, and less expensive.
I like to doctor mine up with a splash of atkins choc. syrup and a generous (1/4 cup or so) of light cream. It makes a lovely thick chocolate milk. And it is REALLY filling.

Started Atkins mid June 2003. Haven't cheated so far.

                          Keto biscotti cookies ~ GACK

Keto chocolate chip cookie mix ~ edible. Best when right out of the oven, not great leftover. They didn't go in the trash though, so that says something...
