  • Carbolite Frozen Yogurt...what's the scoop?

I did a taste test on this today, and it is delicious. I tried the lemon flavor.

I realize it is probably not induction legal, but all you Atkins experts out there, I'd love the feedback on this product.

I grabbed a handout on it and scanned it to view. Here is a smaller version:

and a link to a larger easier to read version of the same thing:
Admitting...on April 2010 I have been eating low carb for almost 7 years and the lowest I got to was 145. These last couple of years though I got lazy, and over the course of time, gained back up to almost 170. I am back on induction, a week into it now on 4/22/10, doing excellent and seeing results. Once again, my weight goal is 140.

I just don't have the heart to change the stats below, except I am NOW 46yrs.

Uh Oh! I just realized I should have posted this under the "new products taste testing" thread. I just automatically gravitate to the induction thread.

Can one of the moderators move this to that thread? It would be much appreciated!

    thanks in advance.

High protien, low carb? Hah, for just a half a cup there's only 1 g protien and 8 g of carbs, no fiber. No fat either? I'd stick with the frozen cream and splenda recipe that's posted somewhere on this board. Stay away from the processed crap. Use berries for flavoring if you're on that rung of the diet.

If you look under Total Carbohydrates 8gm** it's only giving you the NET carbs, they've taken upon themselves to subtract the Sorbitol (sugar alcohol).

I get annoyed at that personally, *I* want to subtract my own stuff from total carbs and what are they trying to hide?

If you're at all sensitive to sugar alchohols (a lot of threads about bars stalling people) then you don't know how many carbs you're really getting. It's way more than 8 though.
