Anyone try these? I moved up to Rung 4, skipped Rung 3, knowing I cannot control nuts, from past experience. I want to use this in my Fage Yogurt. 1 Tbls. is 5 carbs, made with splenda. I just wondered if anyone had any good or bad experience with this food. It is half the carbs of the "all fruit" type jellies. If I eat a half cup of fage 3.5 carbs and add the five, from this, its reasonable carbwise. I did not stay on Rung 2 long, only added ricotta and yogurt. Not much else interested me. I'm going to try this for a couple weeks before I introduce anything else from the berry rung. These are too easy to overeat for me also, but I can stick with the 1 tbls in the yogurt no problem.

Re: smuckers sugar free jams
I have not tried them. I don't think I have seen the splenda one here. Maybe if I had I would have been a bit interested
I looked up the ingredients and this is the list I found
So they do add some other sweeteners in addition to splenda. I don't know how you feel about sugar alcohols?WATER**, STRAWBERRIES+, POLYDEXTROSE**, MALTODEXTRIN**, FRUIT PECTIN, LOCUST BEAN GUM**, NATURAL FLAVOR **, CITRIC ACID, POTASSIUM SORBATE (PRESERVATIVE), SUCRALOSE (NON NUTRITIVE SWEETENER)**, CALCIUM CHLORIDE**, RED 40**.
How big is a serving?
I use real berries in my yogurt (with some nuts). I really like it like that.

Re: smuckers sugar free jams
A serving is one tablespoon, enough to flavor a half cup of the yogurt. I bought the berry ones, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry. They have peach too, which I wont be trying till the proper rung. I know myself, I have no willpower with berries to have them around just to use in yogurt, I'd be eating the whole pint. I wanted to add yogurt, I miss it, and walmart stopped carrying the bluebunny brand i used to use, the fage is way more satisfying. I don't feel great about the sugar alcohols but in small quantities I will try it and see if if effects me. I have avoided sweeteners for the most part "this time". I saw before how they knocked me off course so i am being careful. So far, i have found that it really satisfies me and i have no cravings from it. I lost a pound in the last couple days, which makes me happy. Thanks for your reply.Lisa

Re: smuckers sugar free jams
Well OWL is about trying things out. And I see nothing wrong with giving this jam a shot. If you are lucky to find some fresh local berries you can make your own splenda based jam. I have not tried this yet but I am thinking perhaps this season I will.

Re: smuckers sugar free jams
I've had these... they sell the splenda ones at most Kroger's and Giant Eagle stores (avoid the raspberry, though, as it tastes horribly over-sweetened.)
Perfect for yogurt, perfect for a mock up "pb and jelly," if you want... great melted over low carb ice cream in place of syrups, just a life saving product, really.
good luck and hope you enjoy it.

Re: smuckers sugar free jams
Just another thought on flavouring yogourt - I add 1/2 tbsp of DaVinci syrup to mine (I'm not at the berry rung yet). It make the yogout a bit runny and counts as a sweetener, but doesn't have any sugar alcohols in it like the jam. Just another possibility
