  • Virgil's Diet Soda Pop...

Has anyone had "Virgil's Diet Soda"?

I found this at a health food store near me - and it's pretty good! a little sweet - but that's the xylitol in it. I have no problem with xylitol in SMALL quantities - and 1 bottle has 2 g of xylitol in it.

It's made with no preservatives or artificial ingredients and is sweetened with stevia and xylitol. Plus it has some natural herbs & spices.

I had one for dinner - but I think I may save the other for when I decide to have a nice vodka/diet-cola here at home (too bad I can't take it to a bar with me! lol).

I actually gave up pop about 2 years ago - but admittedly every once in a blue moon I still crave pop - especially what I was addicted to - diet dr. pepper. while this isn't my ddp, it is pretty good. They've also got diet root beer too (i'm thinkin' that'd be great in a low-carb root beer float...)

just wondering if anyone else has tried this?

I've never seen it here but on rare occasions a diet rootbeer with a dash of vanilla and an ounce of cream is a WONDERFUL root beer float substitute! And I find it really fills me up for a couple of hours!
