    Re: Dixie Diner stuff

Which "stuff"? Your link listed a bunch of different foods and categories.

For those in Maintenance or at least on OWL rung 6 (beans/legumes), DD does have an excellent line of TVP (soy protein or "fake" meat) for those looking for vegetarian meat analogs. TVP is pretty high carb and not suited for Atkins in the Induction phase or even in much of the OWL rungs.

The sweets, cakes, dessert and bread mixes are really Maintenance products or maybe well into the OWL rungs.

Dixie Diner products are primarily soy flour, soy protein and soy protein isolate.

I used their products a while back when my diet was primarily vegetarian. As I mentioned, their products are soy based. I found them to have the best selection of TVP (fake meats) that I've come across. The mixes for cakes, breads and such are good for those not in the weight loss phases of Atkins who are looking for soy based products as an alternative to wheat based ones. (The carbs are lower.)

I found the company to be excellent with great customer service. HTH
