Hood Carb Countdown - Milk, and Chocolate Milk

Induction Junction posted about this in the Induction board. It is made by Hood and currently available at Super Wal-Mart. It is about 2.50/ half gallon. The 'whole milk' is 3 grams of carb per 1 cup serving. The chocolate is 2 net carbs (3 carb/1 fiber) per 1 cup serving. They both taste AWESOME. They both contain sucralose. Per cup, less carbs than heavy cream and also about half the price. Of course, cream is still a staple, but this is a nice addition to the list of products.

I am really looking forward to trying some ziplock ice cream with the chocolate, won't even need to use and additional splenda!!

I have to agree here. i tried the chocolate milk and it's just delicious. So I bought some of the regular white milk last week. The great thing about this mils is that its good for well over a month, I bought mine at the end of September and it doesnt expire until november 14th so it won't go to waste.

Low-carb stuff lasts a long time, because there isn't much there for the bugs to eat. Still, once you open the container, the expiration date deal is off, so a sniff test is probably a good idea.

I agree! I had the regular vitamin D milk and it is great. I also love the fact that it lasts a little longer. I can't wait to try the chocolate milk - I am so excited about it because chocolate milk is one of the things I miss the most!

As a former milk addict I was so excited to try this. Looks like milk, smells like milk, pretty much tastes like milk (2%). Gonna go back to Wally World and buy chocolate mmm mmm good!!
