Are you using 2 scoops? I use the water and I also crush ice in it so it gets really cold. I think it gets thick enough. Does the half and half make it taste more like a milk shake?
it really does. It's creamier. Yeah, I use two scoops, and shake it with ice. I don't blend it though. The H/H gives it a thicker, milkier consistency.
I thought this stuff was really gross (and I tried it hot and cold, with a little cream and without). But there is a flaxseed muffin recipe in "Other" forum here that calls for powdered whey. I used 6 scoops of the shake mix (recipe makes a LOT of muffins) in place of the whey and they turned out really yummy! I'm so happy that I haven't wasted my money and can put this stuff to good use! :laughing
