Breyer's Carb Smart chocolate ice cream....mmm. Totally gets me thru my chocolate cravings when it's that T.O.M. And not to mention the fact that it's starting to get hot here in Arizona, and ice cream is the perfect way to cool off. I don't eat much....just enough to enjoy it. And another thing...I actually don't even like regular chocolate ice cream...I'd rather have vanilla. But this chocolate ice cream is amazing! Just thought I'd share.

Breyer's Carb Smart chocolate ice cream....
INGREDIENTS:
Milk, Cream, Polydextrose, Sorbitol, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Whey, Glycerine, Cellulose Gel, Propylene Glycol Monoesters, Mono and Diglycerides, Salt, Cellulose Gum, Carob Bean Gum, Guar Gum, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, Carrageenan, Natural Flavor
Why oh why would one want all these chemicals??? And with 4g of sugar from the milk, not the best use of carbs. Lots of easy recipes to make LC ice cream using real ingredients. Sorry, but this is junk food.

Hey Opalstardust!
I'm not sure if you are concerned with eliminating your cravings or not, but if you are, it would probably be best for you to not have sweets. However, if you know that sugar free syrups and liquid sucralose don't stall you, here is an induction-friendly ice cream that you can make at home:
Easy Ice Cream
There are lots of other induction-friendly desserts here (they are the ones with the asterisks), but remember that indulging in them may just keep you wanting more. Personally, I can't tell you how great it is NOT to crave sweets. It's so freeing!~Kristi

Re: Thanks Breyer's.
Well, I think it's great that you found something you enjoy, and if it works with your plan - why not!? Of course there are other options, and I explore some of those, myself. But I'm happy for you and hope that you enjoy the Breyer's!! I have some of their chocolate brownie in my freezer

Re: Thanks Breyer's.
Simply because a food is a "fix" for a craving or allows one to lose weight while eating it, it doesn't mean it "works" for one or benefits one in the long term.if it works with your plan - why not!?
We see too many people around here failing because they are not following the plan correctly or because they refuse to work on changing their eating habits (choosing low carb junk food instead of high carb junk food is the first example that comes to my mind)."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Thanks Breyer's.
I understand, but I don't think the original OP is indicating that she's failing - perhaps if she were, I would see this differently.
Personally, I see it as someone posting regarding a product that works for her plan, and that she's excited about it. She was just sharing, and I think it's great that others share the recipes that work for them.
