  • BLT Wrap Ups -- So Easy!

This is such an obvious idea but it never occurred to me today.

    Ingredients:

Bacon (preferably extra thick, obviously cooked)
    Mayo
    Grape tomatos
    Whole romaine lettuce leaves
    Low carb ketchup (optional)

Line the spine of the leaf with mayo to taste. Cut up three grape tomatos and line them in the mayo lengthwise. On top place a slice of bacon, and if you're tomato-obsessed like me, add a dash of ketchup. Roll up, and eat!

It's so simple, so good, and SO FILLING.

Here's what mine looked like (one with ketchup and one without):

    Female, 21, 5'6"
Start: October 24th, 2005, um, restart FOR REALZ 2/24/2007
    Total Lost: 60 pounds
    237.5/177.5/170/Long Term 120
Then I gained some back, but let's not talk about that, shall we? 194.6/193.2/177.5/120

I make a version of these all the time, except I use cream cheese instead of mayo. I also use sliced large tomatoes instead of grape ones....they have less sugar. Yummers!!!

I make my BLT wraps (or should I call them BLTE wraps) with:

Bacon, tomato, egg and mayo wrapped in an iceberg lettuce leaf.

I just came across this again and never tried it. It looks so good. I'm printing it out now so I'll have it on hand.

            Thanks for the great idea!
