  • my mince stuff

    ok last time i was in the zone shall we say i came up with this.

    its like spicy mince or something.

    1 pound of mince ( beef)

    1 onion

    6 or 8 mushrooms

    crushed chilles

    brown (steak) sauce

    hot pepper sauce.


    fry off the mince in a pan and when its nice and brown drain off the juice created by the frying ( this way you really get the flavour of the next part)

    chop the onion and mushroom and add to mince

    when they are almost cooked add the crushed chillies and add brown sauce to taste, if you like a kick from your grub then try some hot pepper sauce and get some water !!!!!!



    some might not like it but i love it and its a twice a week meal for me, think of it a shepards pie without the spuds !

    For the Americans on the board, mince = ground beef aka hamburger meat.

    What kind of "brown steak sauce" are you using?

      depends on whats in the kitchen, but ireland chef sauce, in the UK Yr or HP, in the states i dont know.

      if you mean be carbs level, i dont know but it has never stopped a lose in weight when i have used it in the past.

        Mr. Burgundy (lol) do you like the hamburger pie some of us make here? This sounds similar, and very yummy, i might add.

        --Is mince pie ground meat in a pie then?

          I looked at the pie and i intend to make it next week when i have time, the way i do it is faster on the pan if you are on the go like me !!!!
