At least the ad is on topic! That's actually a nice looking little contraption--you pour the beer into it instead of using it in the can. Only thing is, I bet its a bytch to clean.

Oh, thanks Mog! I imagine it could go in the dishwasher. Probably costs a whole lot more than my little can holder. LOL.

I can get a six-pack of "Beast Lite" for about $3. That enough for 6 drunken chickens!

                  Re: Beer Can Chicken

There's even a whole cookbook dedicated to violating poultry, lol. Actually this guy is a pretty good grilling guru. They aren't all atkins friendly recipes of course, but hey, we're free thinkers here.

                      Lol
You know i thought about getting one of those things to put under the bird, but I think it was marketed when folks were worried about the heating of the can leaching chemicals into the bird, but I'm pretty sure the concern was unfounded.

                        Re: Beer Can Chicken

yep the beer can chicken fellow had an independant lab do tests on the cans both coke and beer and in order to leach chems you have to heat it higher and longer then any cooking times for the birds.

FOOODTV.com had him cooking his chickens on a couple yrs ago and ask that question too.
