I love spaghetti squash! I used leftover noodles from my alfredo recipe in a stirfry. It's not the same but its BETTER!

I know there are certain Induction-friendly squashes (summer squash?) but is Spaghetti Squash one of them? I'm so terrible with veggies.

yes spaghetti squash and yellow summer squash are acceptable. its the acorn and butternut and a cpl others that aren't allowed.

It's the nature of the spaghetti squash. Try to make it NOT string.
After you get rid of the seedy insides, rake it off the rind with a fork, it will be stringy.

yah after seeds are removed it is just naturally a stringy veggie its just packed in there and even before its cooked you can pick at it with a fork and see the strings.

You cut it in half and put the open end down on the pan. They come with little stickers on them that give ya cooking directions. Basically you just steam them really.

Re: Spaghetti Squash and Cheesy Alfredo Sauce

I made this last night. I've never even purchased a squash before, let alone cooked one, and my cooking skills are pretty pathetic. LOL. It was incredibley easy. I picked out the darker orange strings/seeds, and then essentially the "noodles" melt right off with you touch em with a fork - so trust me, if I can do it, its easy!

this looks awesome!! does anyone have a low carb marinara/tomato sauce recipe that can be used with meatballs? the low carb store bought sauces seem to cap out at 6 carbs per serving....seems like a lot!
