    my mom used to make these for us at home...but on a bun!

    I eat them without, my hubby likes them on carby bread, etc.

    You need: beef patties (or hamburger), sugar-free pizza sauce (i make my own sauce), mozzarella cheese, Shredded, a few slices of pepperoni, and any pizza toppings you like.

    Okay, I look for 100% beef patties at the store (frozen). Sprinkle with some garlic powder and season salt and broil or pan fry until cooked through. Drain on paper towel.

    Place patties in a single layer in a casserole dish. Top each with a spoonful of sauce, then add your toppings on each (I like to saute mushrooms, g. pepper, and onions together first, then top the burgers).

    Add a bit of cheese to the top of the burgers (or a lot, whatever you like). Chop the peperoni into little cubes, toss these on top of the cheese. Place on the LOWEST rack of your oven, but have the broiler on.

    When cheese is bubbly and brown, theseare ready.. They taste the best. Carb count definately depends on your toppings , cheeses etc.

    If I'm feeling naughty, I will eat one of these on a slice of toasted Atkins bread. Yummy!!!!!!!!!!! :yummy
