  • soup?

It is freezing in my office and I am now eating soup every day instead of the salad I usually eat.

I am getting bored with chili and brocoli / cauliflower soups. What are your favourite (easy to make) soup recipes?

    Thanks!

    Re: soup?

    My recipe is very simple.

Take some cooked meat and veggies and puree them in your food processor then add cream and butter and spices if needed and heat up. If I have any chicken stock I add that too for extra flavour.

Very quick and easy and I can use up any leftovers!

I usually simmer chicken bones left from roast chicken in water to make stock and keep the liquid in the fridge for adding to soups.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

      Re: soup?

I'm simple....lotsa veggies, meat and broth. I also have a fondess for creamed soup----leek or mushroom or broccoli (sorry), ham chowder, clam chowder..... What rung are you on? Dried beans make a heart soup too. I don't use them (well occassionally) as a veggie so much as a thickener.....usually the white kidney bean. I use the black soybean in blackbean soup 9altho I think it has more carbs than the label says).
