  • Spaghetti Burger

I did this by accident, but it was SO good!

I made my own low carb spaghetti sauce, using ground round, little bit of onion, some green pepper, mushrooms, no sugar tomato sauce and about a tablespoon of Splenda to counteract acidity of tomato sauce. I don't measure my sauce, so I can't tell you the complete carbs, but the tomato sauce says 1/4 cup as a serving was 4 grams of carb. Add in your other ingredients for total carb. I can't imagine it's more than 8 or so.

Let sauce simmer while frying up a hamburger patty. (I use Bubba Burgers. They're the BEST!)

When burger is finished, top with mozerella cheese, let melt and then top with spaghetti sauce and finally with Parmesan cheese.

I finally decided to do this when my family was having spaghetti that I couldn't have. It actually tasted better than the noodles and was definitely more filling. Not for induction.

I'm confused.....why is this not for induction????????? It sounds really good and from reading the list of ingredients I thought everything listed was induction friendly......

I don't think that you can have the tomato sauce for induction, right?

I know of no ban on tomato sauce for induction, but it must be sugar-free. If you look at the carb content, you won't want very much on induction!
