  • Bursting-with-Flavor Tuna Salad

My friend and I are both doing this diet, and she is very good at throwing things together and having them taste great.

She was fixing this tuna concoction at her house the other day when I was over there and I said it looked interesting, tried a bite, and immediately asked her to show me everything she put in it.

I've always only put dill relish, mayo, and tuna and called it a day, but, this was so good, I encourage you tuna-eaters to try it for a new twist on it and see if dont love it. (I know the list looks "interesting" but trust me, it tastes awesome)

    1 can Tuna
1 Tbs. Mayo (careful not to put too much, you don't want it "wet")
2 Tbs. Mustard (or spicy mustard)
    jarred jalapeno slices
    2 Tbs. (ish) diced onion
    1 string cheese (chopped)
    cajun seasoning

Mix up and enjoy! It's awesome.

That sounds good, although I like my tuna wet. I wonder if I heated it up some, how that would taste, melt the cheese a tad. Hummmmm

    Thanks for the idea

I already make mine this way.... less mustard and more mayo, though, for me.

I make it a similar way. I put in banana peppers instead of jalapenos and also add sliced black olives.

Wow just in time, was planning on tuna salad for lunch today! Thanks! I like the crunchy-ness of diced celery in my tuna too!

Ok, so I just made this recipe but tweeked it a lil since I didn't have all the ingredients but it still tasted great!... Thanks again!

              I mixed:
              Tuna
              Onions
              Mayo
Mustard (Boars Head Spicy Deli Mustard)

I added (maybe this sounds gross?)
              Celery
              Adobo seasoning (just a pinch)
              Lime juice
              Black Pepper

              I didnt have:
              Cajun seasoning
              Jalapeno's
              String Cheese

Another Alternative but I ran out:
