HI Everyone. I just wanted to submit my favorite recipe... it is more of a guideline than a recipe but regardless, it is good. I LOVE PIZZA
and I have been working on ways to be able to have a decent alternative while doing this WOE. I stumbled up on this idea on a low carb recipe site somewhere on the web and thought I would pass it along.
take a portabella mushroom cap, wash it out really good and remove the stem. Saute it in some olive oil a few minutes to soften it. Top with your favorite pizza toppings (a half and half mix of sour cream and cream cheese with minced garlic is pretty good too for a "white" pizza use chicken and mozzarella to top.) and put in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes until warmed through and cheese melts. I got my family hooked on them and I like it better than the hamburger crust versions of pizza.

Note: carb counts for this recipe will depend on your toppings
