  • Alternative Pizza Recipe

Most people find BikerGoddess pizza absolutely delicious (I'm one of them.) But some don't, so here is an alternative recipe that I made up this weekend when I wanted pizza but didn't have all the BikerGoddess recipe ingredients.

    2 eggs
1 Tbs creamy italian dressing (you could omit this or try ranch or something)
2 oz garlic butter (liquid--nuke to melt).
(mix these ingedients together with a wisk)

Wisk in ~6 Tbs flax meal.

This mixture should be pretty thick and will not spread evenly into a pan. So don't try to just pour it in.

Add 1-2 oz mozzarella cheese to the mixture and mix with your fingers. Again, with your hand spread the mixture into a greased 8 or 9 inch round cake pan (well, that's what I used).

Bake at 375 F for 20 minutes. Check on it after 15 minutes just in case your oven runs a little hotter than mine.

Remove and slice for garlic bread sticks or add pizza toppings and return to oven.

you can make your own garlic butter with garlic powder and butter. I happened to use one of those garlic butters from a pizza delivery for my family the night before.

sorry about that, it is heavy on the flax. Try BikerGoddess pizza, it's really good too. I was really just kind of experimenting with this recipe.

        Thanks for trying,

Ok Mere. I owe you an apology. I tried this recipe again (halfed it) and spread it super thin before I baked it. It was SO much better. Made the perfect personal sized pizza and the taste was fine.... I think the last time I made it too thick. It was great!

Thanks! I had been craving pizza for days!

I'm glad you gave it a second chance. I think I should put a disclaimer with any of my recipes. Something like:

Beware: This recipe was concocted by a chemist who truly believes that necessity is the mother of invention and is not afraid of experimenting. Eat at your own risk.

My brother would probably agree with it, he's my guinea pig and is quick to tell me when he doesn't like something.

LOL, at least you have a guinea pig! Its tough for me to get John to try anything that doesn't look like something his "mom used to make" :no
