  • Cook it in a Cup

    Heya,

To cut down on dishes, I like to find meals I can prepare entirely inside of a coffee cup. So far MicroMini's hot egg salad microwave egg stuff works well for this, as does a variant of the Flax Seed cereal. Does anyone have any other ideas though? Basic requirements are that it can be tossed together inside of a coffee cup with only a fork or spoon to mix it up, and then either microwaved or baked in the cup so no cooking dishes are used.

Shirred eggs: they're essentially baked eggs. Break a egg or two into your cup. Leve them whole, add chopped meat or whatever you want. Bake in an oven until the eggs are set.

Custard: Beat a couple of eggs, 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup cream pour into your cup and bake or microwave. you can make your custard sweet by adding Splenda or a flavoring. Or you can make your custard savory by adding meat, vege, cheese.

Brothy soup: Add chopped cooked meat , vegetables and whatever herbs and seasoning you want to your cup. Fill it with broth and microwave until hot.

Cheesy vegetable: Veg of your choice, 1 ounce cream cheese or a shredded cheese, 1 tablespoon mayonaisse. Mix together, microwave until hot and everything is melted.

"Philly cheese steak": Chopped cooked beef, plus cheese, plus onion plus mushroom plus mayo to bind. Microwave until hot.
