I found a recipe for a low carb ketchup when I was browsing these BBs. Last night I made some for my husband who misses Heinz more than anything else. He was really pleased with it and it genuinely lifted his spirits to put ketchup on his morning eggs again!
Thanks so much to the person who posted the recipe! It was a can of tomato paste, a can of vinegar and then spices to taste and it was terrific.
Based on my calculations, the calories went from 15 -> 6 and the carbs went from 4 per tbs -> 1.5 with .5 as fiber.
